When Jesus shed His blood on the Cross, He established a new and better covenant that changed everything for those who believe. This New Covenant, foretold by the prophets and fulfilled in Christ, brings with it a wealth of spiritual blessings that transform your relationship with God. These aren’t abstract promises—they’re real, powerful, and available to you right now.
Below is a clear list of every benefit that comes to Christians through the New Covenant. Well, first of all I’m not sure if it’s “every” benefit, and besides that, I would say that there are numerous benefits that come from each of the ones listed. Wouldn’t you?
1. Full Forgiveness of Sins
You’re not just covered—you’re cleansed. Under the New Covenant, God doesn’t remember your sins.
Hebrews 8:12 – “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”
2. A New Heart and Spirit Within You
God didn’t repair the old you—He made a new one from within.
Ezekiel 36:26 – “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you…”
3. Direct Access to God
You no longer need a priest to stand between you and God. You now have full and bold access through Jesus.
Hebrews 10:19-20 – “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus…”
4. The Indwelling of the Holy Ghost
God doesn’t just visit—you’re His dwelling place.
John 14:17 – “…for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”
5. Peace with God
The enmity between you and God is gone. Peace is now your standing.
Romans 5:1 – “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
6. Eternal Redemption
Salvation isn’t fragile. It’s permanent because it’s based on what Jesus did, not what you do.
Hebrews 9:12 – “Having obtained eternal redemption for us.”
7. The Law Written on Your Heart
God’s will is no longer distant or external. It’s part of your nature.
Hebrews 8:10 – “I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts…”
8. Freedom From Condemnation
There is no judgment hanging over you. You’re justified.
Romans 8:1 – “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…”
9. You Are Made Righteous
You don’t work toward righteousness—you’ve been made righteous by faith.
2 Corinthians 5:21 – “For he hath made him to be sin for us… that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
10. Adoption Into God’s Family
You’re not just saved—you’re a son or daughter of the living God.
Galatians 4:5-6 – “That we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts…”
11. Inheritance as a Joint-Heir With Christ
You don’t just get to live in the Kingdom—you inherit it.
Romans 8:17 – “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…”
12. Victory Over Sin
You no longer serve sin as a master. You’ve been set free to live righteously.
Romans 6:14 – “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
13. Freedom From the Law of Moses as a Means of Righteousness
The Law showed you your need—but now, Christ is your righteousness.

14. Healing Through the Atonement
The same Cross that bore your sin also bore your sickness.
Isaiah 53:5 – “…and with his stripes we are healed.”
15. Victory Over Death
The grave has no hold on you. Death has been swallowed up in victory.
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 – “O death, where is thy sting?… But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
16. A New Identity in Christ
You’re no longer defined by your past. You are a new creature in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”
17. The Mind of Christ
You’ve been given insight, discernment, and understanding through the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:16 – “But we have the mind of Christ.”
18. Power to Live Godly
You’re not left to figure life out on your own. You’ve got divine power for everything you need.

The hope you have is not wishful thinking—it’s sure, anchored, and eternal.
